ADAMS COUNTY:
---On June 11 an EASTERN MEADOWLARK was reported by Steve Rash on the N side of Lake Ladora at Rocky Mountain Arsenal.  On June 12 Kathy Mihm Dunning confirmed EASTERN MEADOWLARK at Lake Ladora.  On June 14, an EASTERN MEADOWLARK was reported by  Eric DeFonso, Glenn Walbek, Dean, and Nena Shoup at Lake Ladora at Rocky Mountain Arsenal.  On June 16 Chris Gilbert reported EASTERN MEADOWLARK at Rocky Mountain Arsenal.  On June 17 Jeff Dawson reported EASTERN MEADOWLARK at Lake Ladora at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
---On June 14, 2 Cassin's Kingbirds were reported by Jared Del Rosso at Richmil Ranch Open Space.
---On June 11 a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Gene Rutherford at E CR 42 bridge.  On June 18, a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Gene Rutherford at E CR 42 bridge.

BENT COUNTY:
---On June 17 at Van's Grove (CR JJ east of Fort Lyon) a Baltimore Oriole was reported by Mark Peterson and Glenn Walbek.
---On June 13 at John Martin, Steve Mlodinow reported 7 Least Terns and a Curve-billed Thrasher.

BOULDER COUNTY:
---On June 12 a Black Phoebe was reported by Aaron Yappert and Alexa Boyes at 75th and Boulder Creek in Boulder.
---On June 8 a molting juv Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Jack Bushong soaring over Shunk Canyon Trails area in Boulder.
---On June 6 a Canyon Towhee was reported by Kim Mauritz on the South Mesa Trail.  On June 13, 2 Canyon Towhees were reported by Kim Mauritz on the South Mesa Trail in the same spot as a week ago.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
---On June 14 at Hecla Junction, David Lautenbach reported Philadelphia Vireo and 2 Canyon Towhees.

CONEJOS COUNTY:
---On June 12 a Black-throated Sparrow was reported by Sue Riffe in Pinon Hills/John James Canyon.

DELTA COUNTY:
---On June14 a Least Flycatcher was reported by Doug Faulkner at Paonia High School parking lot.
---On June 11 a singing  Black Phoebe was reported by Mary Harris under the south most bridge of River Valley Ranch in Carbondale.

DENVER COUNTY:
---On June 18 a Red-headed Woodpecker was reported by Jeff Dawson at Boxelder Creek at DIA.

EL PASO COUNTY:
---On June 14 at Chico Basin Ranch, John Drummond reported 3 Red-headed Woodpeckers and Curve-billed Thrasher.
---On June 13 a Bobolink was reported by Monday Birders at Fountain Valley School.
---On June 11 a Bobolink was reported by Dean Shoup on Shumway Road.
---On June 10 a Greater Roadrunner was reported by Sharon Milito in the Corral Bluffs area of Colorado Springs.
---On June 9, Glenn Walbek and Chris Brobin reported Pacific Loon and breeding plumaged Red-necked Grebe at Big Johnson and
Mark Peterson also reported 4 White-rumped Sandpipers.
---On June 9, an ad m Chestnut-collared Longspur was reported by Glenn Walbek s of Calhan on Funk Road at intersection with N Yoder Rd.  On June 11, Aaron Driscoll reported 2 Chestnut-collared Longspurs on Funk Road.

---On May 26 a basic plumaged Pacific Loon was reported by Mark Peterson at Big Johnson.  On June 13, Monday birders reported Pacific Loon at Big Johnson.  On June 14 Loch Kilpatrick reported Pacific Loon at Big Johnson.  On June 15 Daniel Fleming reported Pacific Loon at Big Johnson.

GARFIELD COUNTY:
---On June 17, 3 Black Phoebes were reported by Mary Harris at the Kids Fishing Pond next to Fish Hatchery on HWY 133.

GUNNISON COUNTY:
---On June 5 a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Jason Beason at 10,000 ft elevation in lodgepole pine/conifer habitat near where 209.1B Road intersects Main Road up to Cottonwood Pass. 

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
---On June 16 a m Bobolink was reported by Bruce Neuman and Cheri Phillips at the Apex Center, Ralston Creek Trail.  On June 18, 3 Bobolinks were reported by Lorraine Lanning behind Apex Center.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
---On June 18, 2 Cassin's Kingbirds were reported by Jason St. Pierre on La Posta Rd S of Home Depot (Durango) at Animas Glacier Facility Sign.
---On June 18, 2 Cassin's Kingbirds were reported by Jason St. Pierre at 3554 CR 213.  

LARIMER COUNTY:
---On June 18 an American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Nick Komar at the Lake Irene Area of Rocky Mountain National Park.
---On June 15 at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area, Norm Lewis reported 3 BAIRD'S SPARROWS and 2 McCown's Longspurs.
---On June 15 at Bio Solid facility gate on CR 92, David Wade and Nick Komar reported 5 McCown's Longspurs.  Nick Komar recorded a BAIRD'S SPARROW at the entry gate of Biosolids Facility on June 15.
---On June 15 at CR 5 between Cr 92 and Cr 92, 4 male dislaying McCown's Longspurs were reported by David Wade and Nick Komar.
---On June 11 a Green Heron was reported by Richard Herrington at Running Deer Natural Area.

LOGAN COUNTY:
---On June 17, a WESTERN GULL (2nd-cyc) was reported by Glenn Walbek at Prewitt.

MESA COUNTY:
---On June 11 a Black-throated Sparrow was reported by JoAnn Hackos in Colorado National Monument on the Devil's Kitchen Trail.
---On June 11 a singing Grace's Warbler was reported by Mike Henwood on Divide Road/Thimble Point Rd.  
---On June 7 a singing Least Flycatcher was reported by Nic Korte in Collbran West.  On June 11 Rodene Harwood and Ronda Woodward reported 2 Least Flycatcher on PE Rd near Collbran.

MOFFAT COUNTY:
---On June 13 a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by JoAnn RIggle on CR59 at CR 23.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
---On June 11 a Black Phoebe was reported by Jon Horm at Riverbottom Park in Montrose.

OTERO COUNTY:
---On June 18 a Black-throated Sparrow was reported by Mark Peterson and Glenn Walbek on CR E near were the road turns into Villegreen Rd.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
---On June 18, a singing Bell's Vireo was reported by Bill Maynard at Valco Ponds.
---On June 12 John Drummond reported 2 Cassin's Kingbirds and 3 Chihuahuan Ravens on the Doyle Bridge BBS Route on
Red Top Road.   This is S of VIneland and Avondale.

TELLER COUNTY:
---On June 9, a singing Field Sparrow was reported by Jeff Jones at Manitou Lake below the dam about 50 yards in front of "Abert's Squirrel" sign.

WASHINGTON COUNTY:
---On June 18 a Thayer's Gull was reported by John Vanderpoel and Bill Kaempfer at Prewitt
---On June 17, Steve Mlodinow reported WESTERN GULL (2nd-cyc), worn Thayer's Gull (*1st or 2nd cyc) and 1st-cyc Lesser Black-backed Gull and 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers at Prewitt.  On June 17, Glenn Walbek reported WESTERN GULL and Baltimore Oriole at Prewitt.  On June 18 WESTERN GULL and 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers were reported by Loch Kilpatrick at Prewitt.

WELD COUNTY:
---On June 18 a Baltimore Oriole was reported by Joe Mammoser at Crow Valley CG.
---On June 17 a Black-throated Sparrow was report by Michel Cavigelli at Pawnee NG Murphy's Pasture and Auto Tour stops 2 & 3.
---On June 17, 2 Caspian Terns were reported by Steve Mlodinow at Firestone Gravel Pits.
---On June 11 a Whimbrel was reported by Chris Gilbert at Lower Latham.
---On June 9 a Whimbrel was reported by Andrew Fontenot at Beebe Draw.

YUMA COUNTY:
---On June 10 at Hale Ponds, Steve Mlodinow reported 11 Red-headed Woodpeckers, 9 Red-bellied Woodpeckers, 6 Great Crested Flycatchers, and 6 Baltimore Orioles.
---On June 10 at Simmons SWA, Steve Mlodinow reported Red-headed Woodpecker and 7 Bell's Vireos.

Denver Field Ornithologists Field Trips

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, June 19 will be to Jackson Lake Reservoir led by Ira and Tammy Sanders (zroadrunner14 AT gmail.com; 303-278-7172)  Meet at Colorado Parks and WIldlife at 6:00 a.m, 6060 N. Broadway.  Exit I-25 at 58th Ave, go west 2 blocks to Broadway, then north 2 blocks to parking lot on right to carpool.  State parks pass or dayt pass required.  
   This is an all-day trip so bring lunch, plenty of water, bug spring, and sunscreen.  Scopes will be helpful and remember your mud boots as we may hike through some mud.  Radios area necessity to keep the cars in communication.  Be prepared to either drive or ride since the limit for cars is 4.  We will leave at 6:15 sharp.  Register on-line or contact leader.
