If you didn't see on the CNC Build Club meetup or the PS1 meetup page, there's an Extruder Party happening at PS1 this coming Saturday ...

Contact: c...@pumpingstationone.org

More info: https://goo.gl/muaFzb

Do you have a 3D printer (working or not, diy or brand name, kit or pre-built)? PS1 is hosting a 3D printer party where we’ll help you build, fix, and tune-up your printer hardware/software to get it running! Please remember to bring your entire software toolchain, whatever computer you print from, and the most recent parts you’ve printed. You are welcome to bring parts to swap, trade, and sell.

Interested in 3D printing and never made the jump to buy one or just didn’t know where to start? Come by and you’ll get to meet some expert 3D printing users and builders. You’ll get to see a couple popular technologies and variants, that Pumping Station: One has in-house, including FFF and DLP SLA.

We also have a few projects at PS:One and would love to show them off! We’ve got grand plans for our hacked Pro DLP SLA printer to come to life and to do some materials testing with some exotic materials, including conductive and magnetic filaments, as well as high-end polymers used in the manufacturing industry.

Never been to PS:One? No problem! We’ll be giving tours of all PS:One has to offer.

This event is open to the public. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. Entrance to the party will be free, but a $10 donation is requested.

This turned out to be a great event ... a bunch of people showed up with their own machines, and many extruder-related issues were addressed. I think we're going to need to do it again ... there are plenty of people out there who are still struggling with their printers or trying to help maintain printers and this is one of the main sticking points.
