Yeah, I saw that and emailed Inventables to figure out exactly what's included in that kit. The main thing that mildly irks me is that I had already picked a number of upgrades that now appear to be included in the base price, and I've been 3D printing limit switch mounts and adding those to my machine, so I could have skipped all that. Oh well, it's been a fun learning experience and with 20 years experience in the IT industry I know that such is the way of technology. I actually just ordered a Nema-23 belt drive upgrade for my Z-axis from
shapeoko.com today, so I'm mostly interested in the new X carriage of the X-Carve, which seems like it would simplify the machine and add some stability, and the change in mounting location of the drag chain. Oh, and the new power method. Man, more money to be spent. :D
