40W Chinese Laser Cutter Help

Hi There!

I just joined the group and need some help if possible.  

Does anyone have a machine like this?  It is a 40W Chinese Laser Cutter.  I got it but I can't figure out how to really use it.  Initially the lasers were not aligned.  A friend of mine patiently realigned them which took him an hour and a half.  I am unclear how the laser knows where to register 0,0 and I would like to make a grid for it.  Maybe that isn't necessary?  I would really love if someone could come to Humboldt Park and get it in working order and go throught the basics of how to acutally use my particular machine.  Needless to say, the Chinese company hasn't been too much help.  I have no problem paying someone to do this if anyone is interested.
