Dewalt Spindle

I borrowed the spindle off the Shapeoko to make a better mount for it that we will sell at Inventables.  I'll donate one when we get them.  I'll return it within the week.

Seriously though, I'll be interested in seeing the mount you make. And please let me know when the spindle comes back home.

Isn't there a spare Dremel (or any other rotary tool) laying about the space that could be used?
 
If not, I have the Master-Mechanic unit (never used) that originally came with my ShapeOko kit, and would be happy to loan it on the usual terms (less than infinite loan).

Thank you for the offer! Right now, especially since the Dewalt will be back within a week, I'd rather wait and test it with the Dewalt since that's the tool I want to keep on the machine. If it proves to be too heavy or otherwise unsuitable, I may take you up on the offer.
