Here's what they're up to .... 

Hey all! We're taking an old Multicam CNC router and outfitting it with a toolchanger, vacuum table! Come see us turn this old router into one very capable machine. We will be covering everything from theory, electrical, pneumatic, and software requirements to make this happen.

Gosh, that sounds awesome!  I was working at PS1 on the ShapeOko2 most of the day today, and on my drive home it hit me that there is actually a CNC Build Club Google group...and that it would probably behoove me to bookmark it and check in more often!  Low and behold, you're all having fun on a big gnarly router messing around with an ATC and a vac table!

I'd love to know more about it, and join for the next nerd-out session.
