I'm looking for a 100-ton hydraulic press to crush a bowling ball. Will provide bowling balls and safety goggles, but I think this is the kind of thing where you want to stand behind a wall and let the GoPro capture the moment.

Not looking for a *way* to open a bowling ball, there is not much mystery in the internals of the ball, I'm looking for a way to film the spectacle of a ball being crushed with a 100-ton (or larger, naturally) press, and to do it safely.

Anyone?

Elizabeth and I saw this in operation at the UIUC open house. We watched a concrete cylinder explode when subjected to 2.5 million pounds. It was a thing of beauty.... And it's NIST traceable to 0.1%.
