FYI, meetup.com discount

This came up in the meeting last night and many people were unaware of it.

There is a 50% discount at meetup.com for signing up Clojure user groups if you use discount code "clojure".

Turns out that you can goose meetup.com into giving you half off the
first payment (up to six months'-worth for $36 instead of $72) by
going through the new group setup process until the payment step, and
then abandoning. They'll send you an email with a "keep going" link
that applies the discount. I did this just this morning for the new
FP group I'm starting (announcements to come, etc).

For more than two years, I had been getting a 75% discount from Meetup.com for Pittsburgh Clojure. My next payment is due on Monday and there is no longer a discount being applied (bringing the six-month price up from $18 to $72).

Has anyone else seen this change? Are there any other discounts available to Clojure groups?

I don't know of any other discounts. I know the guy that arranged the last one is no longer at Meetup but I could ask around.
