Hi.

We are planning to migrate our data into citus shard, but because of experience lack we may create wrong number of shards for our tables.
It will be to hard to migrate data again.
Has citus ability to reconfigure hash shard count dinamically?

Hi Eugen,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reconfigure hash shards dynamically. I would suggest that, instead of loading your whole data into Citus, just load some portion of the data, play with Citus and different configurations and after enough experiments, load your whole data.

Best,
Eren
