Hello friends!

I'm writing with some exciting news! Here at DOT, we are working to launch a completely new unit that will assist us in getting the word out to the community about our great projects. This new Public Engagement Unit, will help us educate and inform the public about how to use our new infrastructure, as well as conduct surveys and collect data that will help fuel our projects moving forward. 

This is a really exciting unit and a great opportunity to bring on folks that may not have the technical expertise to be a DOT planner, but have the passion to speak about it to thousands of people. 

Please spread the word about these two postings (conveniently attached to this email!). They are essentially the same position, so you can encourage folks to apply for either one (or both!). 

This unit will be reporting to me, so it will be fun all around! And I hope it goes without saying, but we'd love applications from a diverse range of ages, ethnicity, geography, and languages spoken.
