I wanted to forward this to the general list in case anyone is interested. I am a former Know Theater season ticket subscriber and I highly recommend checking them out. Also, I saw Silent Sky back in 2016 and it was an excellent show.

We invite you to come enjoy our production of Ada & the Engine, from April 13th-May 12th, here at Know Theatre. Because of your organization’s dedication to women in STEM, we were inspired to reach out to you about this production.

Know Theatre reunites the creative team behind Lauren Gunderson’s 2016 hit Silent Sky for a companion piece about another little-remembered woman of science who changed the way we all see the world.

Jane Austen meets Steve Jobs in this poignant pre-tech romance heralding the computer age. Ada Byron Lovelace, daughter of the flamboyant and notorious Lord Byron, envisions a whole new world where art and information converge – a world she might not live to see. She sees the boundless creative potential in the “analytic engines” of her friend and soul-mate, Charles Babbage, inventor of the first mechanical computer. A music-laced story of love, friendship, and the edgiest dreams of the future, Ada & the Engine excites scientists and romantics alike.

Individual tickets are just $25, with a 20% discount for groups of 10 or more. For more educational opportunities or any other potential enrichment we could offer your group, please call 513-300-5669 & ask for Maggie Rader, our Educational Director. We would love for this show to be an opportunity for your organization to explore the rich history of women in STEM fields! Click here to buy tickets and for more information.
