suddenly cannot type chinese properly

Hi i need help. my macbook air has always been working fine but there seems to be something different with the pinyin suddenly.

For example, i want to type ni hao ma.

It comes out as "你哈m中“ ／ “niha'mzh”.

Someone please help me T_T
