Cannot access the API

Hey I am just starting to use the Change.org API with a node.js project, but before I start processing requests to the API in my code I have been trying to test the URL's as shown in the tutorial on the developer docs but I keep getting the following errors:

When trying to access the following:

https://api.change.org/v1/petitions/get_id?petition_url=http://www.change.org/p/newry-urban-sports-get-them-a-skatepark?api_key=a254631acc7a93562814d1425b69fa975de92367439bb9842723cd5e42c90ce5

I couldn't figure out what was wrong? 

I presuming maybe that my API key is somehow incorrect?
