Hello,

May I know how our submitted programs will be run? Is there a restriction on the language we can use? Can we use Matlab? And must the program run on Windows or running on Linux is OK too?

Thanks,
Ying

Hello Yin,

The submitted programs will be run on a Intel Core i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz with 8.00Gb of RAM running under Windows7

There are no restriction on the language you can use. You may also use Matlab.
The program must run under Windows. (Sorry for Linux users, but it would introduce too much complication taking into account multiple OS).
The program should be able to complete on the "Test set" (that has not been been publicly released) in less than 24 hours. The Test set contains about 300 gestures, and corresponds to a third of the data you have.
You should mention if your program uses the Raw or the Converted data.

You should include a small readme/pdf file providing basic information on how to execute your program.
Your program should have a mean to provide the base directory (command line or GUI) for the data. The base directory will be organised in a similar way as the dataset.

Do not hesitate if you need further details,

Simon
