Hi everyone - question for all you guys. One of my students asked me what shevet a convert would join in ancient Bnei Yisrael. I was stumped, and so have the people I have asked so far.

Any thoughts? Especially vis a vis BNY's encampment around the mishkan - where would converts or the Erev Rav encamp? Any thoughts/sources?
