consumer: connection error: socket closed. Trying again in x seconds

Hi there! I'm new to celery, and trying to set it up on Webfaction.
When I try to run celeryd, I get the error mentioned in the subject,
"consumer: connection error: socket closed. Trying again in x seconds"

Does anyone know why this is happening/how to fix it?

Most likely it is either not able to connect to RabbitMQ,
or can't login with the provided credentials.

If you're sure that rabbitmq is up and running then you
should check the rabbit logs.

If you don't want to use rabbitmq then you should set up
an alternate message transport:
