Nov CEF Meeting

Thanks to everyone contributing at our last board meeting earlier this week. I think it was very productive and I appreciate the dedication from you all! I especially want to thank Beau for taking on the By-Laws project. Very much appreciated and you have done an excellent job!
As we look forward to Nov, there is a lot that we need to cover. We have invited in a speaker from Edward Jones to help us understand our investments more. We also need to approve a budget. Meagan and I are meeting next week and hope to get that out to you all well in advance of our meeting. We also need to get an update from the grants committee, ratify the by-law changes, start discussions on the gala, and hear more about a website change. All of this leads me to the conclusion that we need a little more time next month. I’m hoping that we might be able to start at 6 vs 6:30? Please see the attached draft agenda.
Also, you should see some additional email activity this month due to the budget and completion of the by-laws. Stay tuned.
Please let me know if you can make an extended meeting on Nov 10th from 6pm to 8pm. Please email me at tonya....@northstarathome.com so we don’t inundate everyone’s mailbox with replies. If the majority can do this, I will have Edith change our email invitation for that night so your calendars are updated.
