Is it possible to load Word document and Excel sheet in WPF??

Hi Dmitry,

Am using xilium.cefglue of 2633 branch,want to load word doc and excel sheet in wpfCefBrowser.

 

Please suggest on this.

Hi.

There is unclear what task you want to solve. The best programs who can work with OOXML (docx, xslx) is original office suite. And if you work together with pre-installed ms office - then it can be easily hosted in own program.

Some kind of this functionality can be achieved via various online services (but in my taste, office365 anyway very fram from desktop version).

If you can't rely on third-party, you can try something like http://webodf.org (but it is ODF, not OOXML), so conversion may required... but conversion can be acceptable for simple docs.

Actually you better ask this on SO, as generic question just about to get know existing libraries. There is pure js/web development question. Dont put cef/cefglue tags as it is unrelated.
