Call: Frontiers of Research on Speech and Music - 2015 - India

Dear Sir/Madam,
The international yearly symposium entitled “Frontiers of Research on Speech and Music (FRSM)” is being organized jointly by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata and Sir C V Raman Centre for Physics & Music, Jadavpur University, Kolkata during 23-24 November, 2015 at the Centre for Education Technology, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, West Bengal. The special theme chosen for the symposium is “Speech and Music Technology in Education”. Apart from the theme, talks related to other areas of Speech and Music is also welcome.
The objective of FRSM is to promote research interest among students in the area of Speech and Music and also to the researchers working in different fields like Physics, Mathematics, Linguistics, Electronics, Musicology, Philosophy, Computer Science etc. With the renewed effort to advance technology for spoken languages and music in India and also in the area cognitive science, research to correlate the experiential phenomena both in Music and Speech with the experimental paradigms of modern science is posed for a new phase of life and a new dimension is added to it.
