Fill candidate function field with apply_joborder

to CATS API

When I view a candidate page I see a field called Function. Is it possible to fill this field with apply_joborder?

This is not a optional field to store data to from the portal (custom form) what I can see and not one of the default questions. Is there another way to use this field?

I don't know of any such field in CATS. It's not a custom field? Where does it appear on the candidate page?
