Execution does not result in any console output

i am over the path related issue, but when running either selftest or the sample.js test i get nothing thrown into the console, what else am i missing? this is my command:
../../phantomjs/bin/phantomjs ./casperjs test ../tests/selftest.js

Try running with below command would it work for you? (http://docs.casperjs.org/en/latest/testing.html#casperjs-own-tests)

casperjs selftest
