MixedJoin Performance?

Hey,

just wondering if there is better performance using a MixedJoin rather than two separate CoGroups

i.e. 

{A | B), (A | C)

vs

(A | B | C)

or is it just a convenience method?

Note that in our case A | B is an inner join but A | C is an outer join.
