Dead List?

The list seems a lot quieter this past year than it used to be.
How many people are on this list these days?
Did we lose a lot of people during that last switch?
Did discussion move to some other list or medium such as a chatroom, forum,
blog, other?

Since I only joined this year, I can't compare, but the Google Groups
page tells me the list currently has 38 members.

It seems many people connect via Google Plus, sometimes also using
Google hangout (video chat) for gaming together. But I've no idea
whether this has anything to do with traffic on this list.
