We have scheduled ,once again, and are hoping for good weather, once again.
The event will be at the school this Friday for the students, teachers and parents as well as those of us "beaming us down".  This is one of our fun events...when they happen...and the kids are great.
I always try to arrive just before sunset which is about 7:25pm (19:25) in order to have lots of time to set up.  About dark Peter or I will have a little fireside chat with the people there to introduce us, promote awareness of wasted light, telescope manners, a laser tour of some constellations and maybe a story or two.  Then the viewing begins and goes on till the teachers and parents kick us out.
I am including a couple of Google overhead pics of the school and how to get to the site and a kmz file for Google Earth so you can explore, yourself.  From Santa Fe, just follow Cerrillos road south until it becomes highway 14 and continue south of the old state pen and movie stage headquarters to the school exit.  Go left into the school grounds, then turn left around the school to the gymn and if we aren't there, continue on to the gate near the far end/ of the fence.  I should be unlocked,  if not open by the time we arrive.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all again.
Brad

I'm game. I should have my "new" secondary mirror installed inthe GSO dob by then. Terry Ostahowski reworked it and did a great job. I highly recommend him, he's very good and a pleasure to work with.

Here's an animation I assembled from the interferometer fringe photos he sent me, showing the improvement in flatness.

Brad ------------------  As long as the creek don't rise, I'll see you then.  Do you want me to bring my refractor and/or my C-5?

Jim, whatever you are more comfortable with.  Disregard the hanging preposition.
