I'm trying to restore search engines from Delicious.  At some point I may have changed the Delicious password or account info because I when I try to backup or restore from PopSearch I get a pop message:  "PopSearch could not log in to your Delicious or Pinboard account.  Please check your username and password."  See attached PNG

I can not figure out anyway to update the Delicious account log in info in PopSearch.  My Delicious account opens as expected when I log in directly from the browser.  I've removed the PopSearch extension and local storage file in User - Library - Safari.  I've run Onix to clear cache.  Then after reinstalling PopSearch and trying to access Delicious through PopSearch I still get this popup instead of a field to enter my Delicious username and password.  Is there anyway for me to update my Delicious account info?

Thank you, MB

You'll have to delete your old saved password for the Delicious API server in Keychain Access. Launch Keychain Access and click Passwords on the left under Categories. Search for an item with the name "api.del.icio.us" — it might be slightly different, but it will start with "api". Delete that item, then restart Safari. PopSearch will prompt you for the password.

I have exactly the same problem described by MB and followed your instructions, but I keep getting the same error message. My Delicious account is native and I'm running El Capitan 10.11.6 (Safari 10.1.1). I tried also to move to the Trash PopSearch local storage, but it makes no difference. Do you have further hints?

Hi. Unfortunately, the Delicious API is defunct. It is no more. The developer of Pinboard bought Delicious and shut down its API (https://blog.pinboard.in/2017/06/pinboard_acquires_delicious/).

Please move your PopSearch bookmarks to Pinboard.
