IT SECURITY ENGINEER

 

Columbus/Dublin, OH  

 

Duration     12 months

 

 

Job Requirements:

Administer HP Fortify security scanning tool.  Development exposure to Java and Mobile technologies.  Experience with Ant, Maven, and Perl for script automation.  Subversion and GIT/Stash. Knowledge base on Websphere Application Servers. Experience with Atlassian tools like Bamboo, Jira, confluence. Experience with Db2, Oracle and SQL databases preferred.   Strong Linux and Windows platform experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hp Fortify Administer and Manage the tools/process/infrastructure that provides mobile development Application Security Champions across the firm to identify security defects.

• Onboard all mobile applications on to Mobile scanning complex to comply with firms SSAP program.

• Plays a SME role on static code analysis process/tools

• Centralized Rule Management

• User Management

• For on boarding exiting application, performing Knowledge transition from Development team to SCM team on build and deployment process.

• For New applications, work with development to get the requirements of application build and deployment process.

• Once the process KT is complete from development team, build engineer role is to write build and deployment scripts according to SCM team standards and processes to IST, QA , Performance and Production Environments.

• After complete of the scripts development and process setup, build engineer role is expected to execute the builds and deployments to all above environments based on weekly scheduled build calendar.

Skills required:

- Excellent Communication

- HP Fortify Instillation and Administration Experience is must

- 3-4 years of programming (Java, C, C++, Objective-C)

- scripting and automation experience

o ANT and Maven

o Shell scripting

o Ruby , Rake , Python, Perl, Cucumber

- Jenkins

- Great knowledge or Unix and Linux Environments

- Good knowledge of Mac OS X environment

- Android and iOS development experience

- GIT + SVN

- SQL Server

- Software Security and Vulnerability process identification and resolution
