Writing data to MAPR hadoop using Camus

Hi All,

I am new to camus. I was able to create a producer in kafka for Avro Format. However, due to lack of java doc and documentation . I am unable to proceed any further.

1] I have kafka cluster setup.
2] Have installed MAPR.
3] Installed Camus from git.

Please guide me the approach and how to understand what is happening in Camus and build a simple camus job to write data into hadoop/

Hi Anant,

I had to compile Camus using "mvn clean package" command. There were few compilation issues, but once compiled and configured to talk MapR, I was able to run the ETL command.

Unfortunately, I am facing issues reading data stored in HDFS. I am not very much clear about how to read data stored by Camus.
