Hello Jürgen,

my name is Carlos Guarderas and I'm a student at Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. I wanted to thank you for creating camtrapR because it is an incredible tool to make data analysis so much easier! Ive worked with camera traps for almost 10 years around the cloud forests of Northeastern Ecuador and have been able to encounter incredible places and creatures. 

i use camtrapR mostly to help me organize and try to understand my data. as well I like to use it when I have to create simple to understand graphs about the detections. 

on the other hand, it is a program that is user friendly for a beginner but it still takes a lot of work to understand sometimes. 

i would like to understand better how I can obtain summary statistics about the cameras like animal density or diversity indexes but I'm not sure if it is possible with camtrapR,
