Hi, I have an app that has a sidemenu and I need to click on hamburger icon to open/close.

How can I click on that button/icon using calabash?

Use the method touch() to click on the button.

you can use calabash-android console xxx.apk

with command : querry(*)

to see the exact id off that button/icon and then simply use the step :

Then I press view with id "burgerIcon"
