Can i use calabash to assert the text elements along-with its other properties in a CANVAS view using Calabash or do i need use the screenshot technique as supported by Calabash.

It is not possible to get assert the text elements along-with its other properties in a CANVAS view using Calabash .More over calabash is a Black box testing .
