In need of a mobile app developer

I am currently partnered with another BYU business student and we are working on a start-up company. We have a great idea that is already in motion, but as you could have guessed we are not the most tech savvy people. 

We are looking for a mobile app developer who could start as soon as possible. We will not be able to guarantee you a certain salary, but we can offer you a portion of the company equity with much foreseeable success. We are looking to partner with some large cooperations who have already expressed interest so now we just need a programming expert to fill in the missing pieces. 

Hours anticipated: 25+ hours a week. 

Required skills: App development - We believe that Java would be the best, but you guys are the ones who know a lot more than us about this!

Our company looks to have extremely promising growth. Our efforts will be funded through our potential partners who are looking to see some signs of us moving forward before they want to commit to anything.

Ontario's advice is spot on. If you are resourceful you should be able to develop a non-technical prototype that proves your business model. This should be sufficient to raise angel investment. 

I'm an entrepreneur, CTO and app developer. If you guys are willing to drive up to SLC I'd be happy to sit down with you to learn about your business, help outline what you can do without a developer, and estimate what you should expect to spend building your app.
