Subject: Orienteering training and requirements sign-off
Scouts,
I will be offering Orienteering training and requirements sign-off, such as the one mile compass course, a requirement for the First Class scout on Sunday April 23rd, 2017.
This is for both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
Boy Scouts – You can be dropped off and picked up.
Cub Scouts – You need to be with your Den Leader or your parent.
Cubs Scout Den Leaders, please forward to your dens.
We will be doing the orienteering training circle to refresh and train use of the compass.
There are two compass courses that will be available, Basic and Intermediate.
This will be on Sunday, since hunting season is going on.
Please bring a lunch, water to drink and a compass if you have one.
Dress appropriately.
Place: Pinchot State Forest in Thornhurst township.
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
