Good morning Troop 132,

Below is information on Camp No Limits Maryland.  Some of the info in the written email is for campers but does pertain to volunteers.  The attachment is the schedule the camp is following. 

There are about 14 volunteers that I know are attending from the Troop, we need 24 as the camp is bigger this year then years in the past. 

Karen said she knows some high school kids that need service hours.  If the Troop cannot supply 24 people I would like Karen to reach out to her contacts about getting volunteers.  

I made a commitment to CNL to supply volunteers and I need to make sure we have 24.  

Please let me know what the Troop can supply so if we need more Karen can reach out to the people she knows.  Camp is only 2 weeks from tomorrow and I need to make sure we are covered,

Hello everyone!

 

We are so pleased to have you join us at Camp No Limits Maryland! Please review the enclosed information to help you and your family prepare for your camp adventure! 

 

Arrival Information

Check-in is between 3:00-4:30PM, Friday, September 1. 

 

Departure Information

Departure will be Monday, September 4 by noon. Lunch will not be available before we depart. 

 

Camp No Limits will be held at: 

NorthBay Adventure Camp
11 Horseshoe Point Lane
North East, MD 21901

 

Regarding Bedding

You are required to bring your own bedding to this camp including sheets for twin beds, blankets/sleeping bags and pillows. You will need towels as well. There is a beautiful pool we will be using in the afternoons so bringing beach towels might be a good idea to add to your comfort for the weekend!

 

Program Schedule

Please take a look at the enclosed program schedule to help you prepare for your trip. It's an action packed weekend! Please remember swim wear and sneakers for our Adventure Afternoon activities! 

 

Biking Clinics 

We will be having biking clinics at camp to help you learn how to ride a bike. These clinics are by sign up. If you have bikes that you are able to bring that would be fantastic. You will need a helmet as well! 

 

Talent Show Night

Our most favorite camp tradition! Do you have some awesome talents you would want to show off?! If you like to dance, play an instrument, sing, do gymnastics, tell funny jokes or even show off your one handed shoe tying skills, we would love to see what you've got! Please bring whatever props you need with you to camp to blow us all away! We can help you with your music selection. 

 

Raffle, Camp Store & Dance

We will be having our raffle once again this year. If you'd like to contribute raffle items, please bring them with you during registration. Thank you in advance for your offerings! Tickets for the raffle will be $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. This raffle is HUGE! 

 

CNL will have a variety of camp merchandise available at the camp store to purchase. We can accept cash, check or card! If you're returners, don't forget to pack your camp shirts for the camp photo! 

 

Feel free to bring nice duds for the dance! Some people like to dress up, some people like to keep it casual. It's up to you! 

 

Financial Tidbits

Please take a look at your enclosed statement and let us know if you have any questions or if there are any errors. For any outstanding balances you can pay anytime online through our website at www.nolimitsfoundation.org by clicking Donate. PayPal has recently removed the memo/note field so please email and let us know you've made a payment online if you use this method of payment. You can also make payment at camp with cash, card or check made payable to Camp No Limits. 

 

If you would like to discuss scholarship availability, please email me. If you've already requested scholarship but also indicated that you were fundraising either online or independently, once we know what you've raised, we will top off the rest with scholarship funds. Please get in touch and let me know so I can add those notes to your account! 

 

Attendance 

If you're no longer able to attend, please let me know as soon as you can. CNL Maryland is 250 strong again this year and we want to make sure we have everyone in cabins as comfortably as possible!
