Send me your github usernames! Looks like we can pretty simply create
repos there, set everyone as a collaborator and people can push back their
stuff willy-nilly.

Not sure who's looking after the "organisation", but I'm on the list here: https://github.com/organizations/BrisFunctional/teams/115177

Yep - everyone who attends BrisFunc should be on there, just ask me to add you if you're not.

I forked jan-g's repo (and gave it a sensible name), so feel free to have a look at: https://github.com/BrisFunctional/2x2x2

Last night we worked on writing a solver for the 2x2x2 rubik's cube.  We chose a system for representing the cube, and for representing moves which permute the cube, so any scramble/unscramble can be expressed as a composition of those moves applied to an initial state.  We ran out of time at this point (having spent a lot of time discussing various alternative approaches which I personally found really interesting) - so we'd be ready next time to explore how to generate sequences of moves to solve a scrambled cube (efficiently?)  We could also think about how to generalise our solution to cubes of other sizes.

Next BF will be on the final Tuesday of June - the 25th.
