Found a bit more information concerning the milk strike photo I posted on March 24. In a newspaper article dated July 7, 1941 (either from the Daily Star or maybe the Binghamton Press) entitled "Dairy Union Holds Own in Struggle in Delaware," was the following paragraph: "Another creamery which felt shortages during the weekend for the first time was the Andes Co-op. Pickets yesterday morning stopped a co-op bound truck owned by Arthur Coss of Andes.....The same pickets stopped two trucks with about 30 cans as they approached Bovina but only one can was dumped when the drivers, John Bellino and James Lane, promised to take the milk back home." It seems likely that the photos I posted are from this specific incident.
