Hi all,

Yes, I'd be up for it--a nice way to celebrate the partial solar eclipse we wouldn't be able to see even if it were raining.

I'll aim to be at O'Leary's around 5:30 unless I hear otherwise.

Also--I've been out of the loop (hm, nice ouroboric idiom for the text at hand).  What page are we on, and is there a key phrase I may use to look it up if I'm using my iPad?

Stay dry,

Pat

Miss y'all!

Yay, for Pat!

Eeep, I marked it down in my print copy, but I forgot it (I have it on my phone). So, horrible to say, I don't know where we are :(

May I propose that we start at a heading a little bit before the point we may have gotten to? And then we can move ahead with greater confidence, arbitrary as it may be, and sad as it may feel to cede that ground.

With so many of us hopping and popping with difficult schedules this semester, maybe we should plot out a course of reading, week-by week, and then those of us that can meet can discuss it in person, and thems as that can't, can follow along at home? (Or, as is more likely in my case, on the train...)

If people think this is a good idea, we can share a proposed reading plan here on the list.

All best,

Z

Maybe, if I can finish Battersea today over my lunchbreak and from 4-6.

Love the reading plan idea. I have the flu and don't plan on being able to attend tonight.

Oh no! I'm so sorry you have the flu, Moira! :( How bad is it? Have you had it long?

Yay, for Sean!  I'm also up for browsing around in the general vicinity and trusting memory to guide us.

Also, correction to my throwaway comment in my previous email:  "even if it *weren't* raining."

Correction to my email: I didn't "forget" the book, I intentionally didn't bring it because it's bulky and would get rained on :(.

But it's just so conveniently in my pocket phone, so I get lazy.
