What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run BOSS
2. Allow it to update
3. Receive error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it to reorganize my mods and update masterlist.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v2.1.1
Windows 8 x64

Specifically it says "C:\BOSS\Skyrim\BOSSlog.html 'Class not registered"

Never seen this before - I'd guess it has something to do with the Windows
defaults for opening HTML files, make sure they're set up (by
double-clicking on an HTML file).

They are registered to Chrome, but nevermind this problem ,it's more of an
issue with the Operating system itself, I've just reformatted.

I'm seeing this same error in Windows 8 x64 as well. HTML files are
registered to Chrome and it opens them A-OK when double clicking on one.

This error seems to be minro though, since all it appears to be preventing
is the log file from opening up in a browser?

My guess is that it has to do with Windows 8, because I'm seeing this error
as well.

Found the solution.
1. Make a new Blank txt file on desktop (or wherever).
2. Edit it, save as a.html
3. Right click->Open With...
4. Select Chrome and set as default program.

Fixed it for me

Although it is marked as done I'll add what I found out:
I have windows 8x64
Ie10 : Ok with the minor annoyance to activate the script (can be changed
in the settings i suppose)
chrome : Ok
Firefox aurora (26.0a2): No ok I get the error

So if you have a alpha/beta version of firefox (which are not final release
for a reason, then try it with an alternate) browser, it may also apply to
beta chrome I guess... It may be worth to keep it in check though

I'm also using windows 8 x64
I get the error even after setting chrome to default (it was default since
the start anyways) and I downloaded firefox just for using BOSS.

I have .html files set to open in firefox by default. Pretty much the same
symptoms as #5

I found i had this problem with the "Automated installer", but ran as it
should using the "Manual install archive", might be another way to fix it.
