I'm really interested by this software. I downloaded the binary version for windows, but when i launch it and add some Cloud there is no sound. The tutorial seems to be very confuse to me.

Hi Sylboud -

Thanks for your message.

Unfortunately, I do not have a windows setup to test - the binary was provided by a user who generously shared the compiled version. The desktop version in general is very outdated - it is simply a prototype that was developed over 5 weeks before I began working on the iPad version 3 years ago. I have not kept up with development on that version, although I hope to get back to it eventually.

I believe the tutorial you are referencing is the video for the iPad version, which is far more advanced and quite different from the early prototype.

My apologies for the confusion!

Very best,
Chris

Also - couple questions to help me better troubleshoot your issue:

-Do you have any sound files loaded into your loops directory?  Do they show up in the software as gray rectangles with waveforms?
-Do the white dots in the cloud jump around or do they stay stationary?
-Do you see any dots triggering and turning red?
-Do you see any error messages printing out in the windows console? If so, would you mind sending them?

Thanks,
Chris

It would be great if Borderlands would be developed for Windows. I own a Microsoft Surface and multitouch works great on Windows 10. There are a lot of touch Windows 10 tablets now.
Will you develop a Windows version in the future?
