Hello!

Thanks for releasing this fantastic instrument, and at such a nice price.

The first thing I noticed (apart from how intuitive it all is) is that it doesn't reorient the screen when you turn it like most apps do.

I understand why that might pose unique challenges and that you don't want it flipping around in the middle of a performance and that keeping it as-is encourages physicality in performance.

Is this what was intended?

Would it be better to somehow at least be able to flip the text on the modules so we can read it easier or do you think it's fine as-is?

Thanks

Thanks for posting this question Adam. I have the same issue. It is very frustrating for a musician.

Hopefully this will be resolved with the first update.

I think the thing for me is that I'm paranoid of touching my camera all the time + like having the physical volume control at the top. If it's going to default to one position or the other, I would greatly prefer that it was flipped at least.

Hey guys -

Just saw this discussion after responding to the last email :)

I'll test out having it fixed in the other direction and see how that feels.

Thanks!
Chris

Perhaps having an orientation toggle which is remembered by app - different people orient their pads in different ways.
Live, I have my pads mirrored so the audio wires go out opposite ends and I can keep the pads close together.

Good thought. I like that idea.

Two years later, and still the same issue? Are you kidding me? I was sold on this by your Vimeo video, and then I buy it, only to discover I can't use it without physically removing my iPad from its keyboard case stand? Inexcusable. 1-star review until this gets fixed.

Wow. Because that's really going to inspire him get right on it. Way to be encouraging.
