Borderlands crashes on startup

This may be an old topic, but for some reason when I renewed my samples in the same Itunes playlist (all of which are 5-6 seconds) the app crashes on startup. Similar samples were loading perfectly before.
I tried adding the older samples that did load before, but the app crashes instantly. New generation ipad, iOS 7.

tried reinstalling the app and then rebooting the ipad, but the app loads its own default samples which work, and when I try to reopen the app again, it crashes.

Any ideas on how to fix this? very frustrating!

I had this identical problem. In the end I think I fixed it by turning off iTunes match, however I also reinstalled the app, and resynchronized a number of times during the process. Though, it didn't work again until I made sure all iTunes match settings were off. Hope it helps.
