Can MIDI trigger position?

Hi there!
Just wondering if it's possible to have an incoming MIDI note number trigger a playback position?

OR have a MIDI note number momentarily turn playback on or off?

I'm guessing that it isn't possible currently. Is this a feature that could be added in a future update? I imagine others may like this as well.
