So the question is now: what makes Booktype unique? Being open source is one important factor, I would think.

'Platform' (though tight to webkit) independant is two.
Maybe collaborative production could be three.
Could be used in a global news production Platform airtime and newscoop.
Some work could be done to enable data vizualization to non programmers.
