I've always used Read2Go or GoRead with students; but there are so many other apps that work too (Capti Narrator, VoiceDream, etc). Is there an app that Bookshare prefers the members to use? Or is it basically, user preferences?DJ

Great question. The best app to use is definitely dependent on the user. If a free app is needed, and the platform is an iPad/iPhone, Capti Narrator is great. If there are funds to purchase an app, Voice Dream Reader offers so much functionality for the price, and it’s available for both iOS and Android. Frankly, Voice Dream has more resources to keep updating its app than Benetech does to update Read2Go. That said, Benetech will soon offer an update to Go Read (a free app for the Android platform) that will support Reading Lists, so keep an eye out for that!
