Just updated from bndtools 2.something to 3.2. I want to move my existing projects into this.

I chose to build a new workspace and I'm presented with a wizard step titled "Select workspace template".

There's some words underneath which I understand individually but I have no idea what this concept means.

I did a search on Google but only saw the en route tutorials and the release notes. The former seems specific to that use case and the latter really just repeats the word "template" a lot which is so overloaded it's meaningless. I think it means the wizards you get for new bndtools projects, bnd files, run descriptors at this point. Quite why this would need to be configured for the default use I'm not sure...

So what do I press? I'm going to take a punt on "Minimal Workspace" and see what happens.

Hmmm, that seems to have given me a cnf/ with no repos like local etc so none of my dependencies are found.

Ok let's try again with bndtools/workspace.

That looks like it is offering up more repos. But some files appear to be in conflict. I'll trash the cnf/ and start over.

I think this is better.

I just didn't understand the template

The ability to choose template sources or contribute templates from within your own workspace smells a bit of AbstractFactoryMetaCreator to me? Could a good default not be chosen? Maybe this is offering significant power I can use, just got to learn about it...
