Announcing the International Health Professional Program
Market America Worldwide and nutraMetrix are committed to making a difference by promoting wellness and improving the quality of life for whomever is ready to make the commitment, so we are pleased to announce Market America’s International Health Professional Program. Our announcement is in response to high demand from Health Professionals in our global markets wanting to integrate complementary alternative medicine into their traditional practices to better serve clients and promote a future focused on wellness and prevention, thus improving the quality of life for all.
The International Health Professional Program offers qualified Health Professionals the opportunity to enter into Market America’s UnFranchise®* Business System, either as a Health Professional, or through our unique option known as the Health Professional 1 (HP1) Distributorship, available in the drop-down menu of the Sign-Up Wizard at a cost of US$129.95. An additional fee of US$20.00 per month will be charged for the UFMS subscription.
The subscription fee and UFMS subscription are mandatory for both HP1 and HP Distributorships. The HP1 Distributorship will allow HPs to order high-quality Market America nutraceuticals at a reduced cost, which can then be sold at retail, allowing Health Professionals to earn profit through the sale of these products.
If you have current active UnFranchise Owners or prospects in Canada, the United Kingdom or Australia and they maintain qualifying licenses or certifications, you now have the opportunity to convert or recruit them into the International HP/HP1 Program. The International Health Professional Program will launch in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mexico in the coming weeks. Be aware that we will initially have limited HP1 support tools for implementation and marketing while we continue our learning process within each specific country’s Health Professional market. We will look to you to professionally represent the HP1 program in your country market.

Please note that the International Health Professional Program is not the same program that we currently offer in the U.S. The nutraMetrix-branded products, the nutraMetrix website, and the NC Training program are available in the United States only. As we begin to identify Health Professionals in our international markets, we will work closely with them to customize the full program and training to meet the unique needs of their country and their health system.
We are excited about the new International Health Professional program, and we look to make this a stepping stone to advance into the full nutraMetrix program in international markets. The future is bright, and together we can take giant steps in making a difference through our International Health Professional program.

Tips to Grow Your nutraMetrix® Business
We at nutraMetrix want to wish you a happy New Year with ongoing success, both personally and professionally. With the growth of our professional division has come an increase in the number of requests by allied health providers to open accounts with nutraMetrix. We would like to clarify the requirements for HP/HP1 status with nutraMetrix.
As stated in Chapter 9 of the Career Manual:
“Each HP/HP1 Distributor must offer their health professional services in a qualified and legitimate healthcare practice with an active patient/client base.”
“Each HP/HP1 Distributor (or its principal, if the Distributor is a business entity) must have an active, valid health professional license or equivalent professional certification (as accepted by nutraMetrix) in the state in which the HP/HP1 Distributor practices or operates.”
“A copy of this license must be submitted to the nutraMetrix Division at Market America within 30 days of applying to become a nutraMetrix HP/HP1 Distributor.”
“A Health Professional who holds a license or certification other than one listed in this section, and who wishes to be qualified as a nutraMetrix HP/HP1 Distributor, should contact the nutraMetrix Division prior to opening a nutraMetrix account in order to be considered on a case-by-case basis.”
“The Health Professional must provide the following documents via email, mail or fax (336) 605-0041.”
- A cover letter on office stationery stating
- The nature of the practice (group, solo, hospital-based, etc.)
- Type of patients seen
- Type of services provided
- Special training, degrees, etc.
- Copies of supporting credentials: licensure, certificates, diplomas, etc.
In the interest of assisting everyone, here are a few tips.
Anyone interested in a case-by-case consideration can expedite their request by ensuring their request includes all pertinent information for consideration.
- If the party requesting HP/HP1 status holds a professional or advanced degree/certificate in another health science, even if it is not the certificate for which they are planning to promote with nutraMetrix, please include as supporting documentation for HP status.
- Certificates of participation in weekend courses, coursework available to lay persons not currently enrolled in a program for certification, or hours not satisfactory to meet the standard of professional degree or licensing requirements (i.e.: less than 2,000 classroom hours*), will not be considered for HP status.
*Experience hours** are not considered for HP status unless they are under the documented supervision of a qualified Health Professional.
**Experience hours shall not exceed 500 hours of the 2,000 required classroom hours.
- Professional curriculum or program details, i.e. quarter/semester requirements for certificate or degree, should accompany the request for consideration. If course work is completed during a series of weekends over the course of 18-24 months, please state.
- If the state where the party requesting HP/HP1 status resides has a “scope of license” or “scope of practice” definition, please include with your correspondence.
- The party requesting HP/HP1 status should include how their program requires them to meet professional standing, i.e. thesis, certification exam, board exam, annual continuing education credits, etc.
- If HP/HP1 applicant has a professional website which lists services and qualifications, please include its address.
- For consideration of allied Health Professionals currently listed in the Career Manual as case-by-case qualifiers, these tips may be helpful.
Medical Esthetics: Practice needs to be in a medical facility under the supervision of a qualified Health Professional (supervision is defined as on premises).
Qualified Business Owner: A copy of the medical director’s license or certificate/license of a designated qualified Health Profession on premises.
Nutritionist/Institute for Integrative Nutrition/Certified Nutrition Specialist: Documented hours with a qualified Health Professional in the amount of 500 hours, or enrollment in ongoing advanced education through their institution.
