BG wrongly saving pages with Unix line endings

I think this was going on all along through the different versions, but I'm really noticing it now that BG is at last saving my pages with UTF-8 encoding. It was supposed to save in UTF-8 in previous versions but was still saving all my pages with the Windows 1252 encoding, so I had to change them back every time in EditPad Pro.
Anyway, my point here is that BG is saving every page of mine with Unix line ends, despite 'force Unix-style line endings' being unchecked in Preferences. Actually EditPad Pro indicates Unix (mixed), implying that there may be one or more Windows line endings too, but certainly in the body of each page there are only Unix ones. I tried checking 'force Unix-style line endings' to see what happened then, and with that checked, BG saves all Unix, so there is a difference, but an insignificant one from the user's perspective. -- A fix would be greatly appreciated - thanks! :-)
