Can't install csseditor recently purchased. Needs 1.8, only Linux version is 1.7.2 downloadable from site?

I have BG 1.7.2 and just purchased the CSS editor add-on but it won't install, says it needs 1.8, yet, the Linux link on the downloads page goes to the same
1.7.2 tar.bz2 file I already have.
Is there a BG 1.8 version for Linux 64-bit, and if so, where is the correct link?
