Hi,

I am wondering if Gmail Plugin is in working condition.  I am running B69 and Gmail Plugin 1.0.1.  The information panel says there is an error of unmet dependencies and it says the plugin is disabled.  I presume this means the E-Mail Support plugin which has not been updated since 2006.  I am not sure why the Gmail Plugin would have been updated and shipped if the E-Mail Support plug-in it depends on has not also been updated.

In any case, the Plugins preference pane does not list the E-Mail Support plug-in, presumably its a hidden plugin.  So I downloaded the 2006-01-06 plugin from the plugin web site and install it, just in case.  It still does not show up in the plugins panel and the Gmail plugin is still disabled.

I got Google Notifier installed, and configured as the default reader in Mail.app.

Thoughts?

Elias

Hi there,

The Gmail plugin does indeed require the Email support module, but has been released before it is ready (as it was relatively simple).
It won't work until the Email support module is updated to 64 bit. In the meantime, you can run Quicksilver in 32 bit mode http://www.simplehelp.net/2009/09/15/how-to-run-os-x-programs-in-32-bit-mode/
