Our sys admin asked me to post the following message:
"I am continuing to have a problem with the NFS
mount. If I try to mount everything in
/etc/fstab, I get a message that there is nothing to mount. If I specifically try to mount the remote NFS
server, I get no error message (even with the verbose flag), but nothing
happens. I think there may be something
preventing the mount, for security purposes (but it's not the firewall, since
that is not active). "
BitCurator is up and running fine as the sole partition (we ditched Windows, because we had no need for it with our workstation), but is not allowing NFS mount for some reason. Any idea how we can fix this?
Thanks,
Jarrett
