There is SCANSLIB (coded in REXX) from the IBM z/VSE samples.
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zvse/downloads/samples.html
On volume VOL2VMR inside the zip files (1.2 MB): vse_user_examples.zip
I hope this helps!

Subject: searching source code in a z/VSE sublibrary
All;
Is there a z/vse utility to search SOURCE members in a z/VSE sublibrary for a specific occurrence? I do NOT want to look for specific member names, I want to look for a specific field name INSIDE a SOURCE copybook? For example, in copybook below, I want to search for the field name of ASKEY.
